First time experiencing Pelaverga grape. There’s no hiding anything here. The wine is light in color (translucent ruby). Intense but delicate and has waves of flavor. Paired with a wild mushroom risotto (bay leaf for kicks) and the wine loved it. Need more of this wine.
Very nice with a meatball sandwich! Every bite washed down with a sip of good fruit-slightly dry and cleansing mouthfeel. The after effects keep you hungry and thirsty for more. You don’t want it to end and look forward to the next time for this pairing.
