Born out of the Pasqua family’s passion for wine, its long-standing tradition and strong link with its city of Verona's culture and beauty. If wine is a story, and this wine tells the love story that made Verona famous all over the world, that of the sweethearts Romeo and Juliet. A legend and a place, that attracts thousands of tourists every day to visit one of the most romantic places and invites them to leave love in the courtyard of “Juliet’s house”. Our label is an original photograph of the Juliet’s courtyard by photographer Giò Martorana, and has become an unmistakable element of their identity. Made in a appassimento style (similar to Amarone), the three different grapes are left to dry for a month in wooden crates in a dry, well-ventilated environment. There, the grapes lose 30% of their water content, increasing the sugar concentration. Separate stainless-steel fermentation is followed by three months of oak maturation before blending. The final blend undergoes malolactic fermentation to harmonize and soften the wine.
