The 2022 Barolo Albe is laced with sweet dried red cherry, cedar, pipe tobacco, mint and orange peel. The aromatics are quite pretty, but the 2022 feels a bit light, especially on the mid-palate. It will be interesting to see if this fleshes out in bottle. This is a solid effort for the year.
