If heavy satin fabric, dropped in slow folds on ancient flagstone floors, in the light shaft of a red stained-glass window at sunset, tasted of something, this wine is what it would taste like. It’s certainly what this wine feels like – the textures of silk and stone, folded and worn and etched and smooth. It’s almost as if, through the dark red-and-indigo, limpid drench of fruit, the tannins are made of tektite polished tumblestone. Long, long, tirelessly long. (TC) 14%
