- Crafted in the image of Champagne, Racines Grand Reserve Blanc de Blancs Cuvee is hand-harvested from their organically farmed estate vineyard, Wenzlau Family and the result of a collaboration between Brian Sieve and Etienne de Montille of Burgundy and Pierre Peters of Champagne. It is aged on lees for 30 months, bottled without fining or filtration, and finished in an extra brut style. Intensely floral on the nose, it offers crisp orchard fuit, citrus, and curshed seashell, unfolding into flavours of almond, brioche, and malt powder. A saline, lemon-zest finish highlights its structural precision and ageing potential. The palate is supple yet energetic, with and impressively long finish. This wine is comprised of wine from the 2021vintage, with the remainder being a Solera method-style reserve blend from previous vintages.
