Opaque ruby. Aromas of boysenberry, blueberry, pipe tobacco, smoky spices and olive. Very rich but surprisingly energetic, offering sweet dark berry compote flavors and exotic floral and tobacco notes. The spiciness returns on the finish, which is sappy, impressively focused and extremely long.
