The 2013 Saint Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly possesses the best nose of Pierre-Yves’s Saint Aubin premier crus with apricot blossom and lime-flower scents intermingling with the mineral notes. The palate is very well balanced with a taut line of acidity, very good weight in the mouth but not “fatness." The tension is maintained from the start to the graceful and focused finish. Pick of the bunch from P-Y's Saint Aubin? Definitely. Drink through 2032. (NM) (12/2014)

There is a background note of matchstick but not so much as to materially detract from the wide range of citrus and floral scents. The palate impression of the beautifully delineated medium weight flavors is notably mineral-driven and, consistent with the nose, there is plenty of citrus character on the focused, cool and markedly dry (but not aggressively so) finish. This moderately austere effort is packed with upside development potential but note that it will also need a few years of cellar time to unwind as it's presently very tight. *Outstanding, Top Value* (6/2015)

Less open than the Chatenière, hinting at pear and minerals on the nose. Juicy and sharply delineated, showing excellent mineral energy and cut to the lemon and lime fruit. Finishes stony and long, with terrific saline intensity and lift. A very strong Saint-Aubin cuvée. Colin-Morey filtered but did not fine his Saint-Aubins, bottling them last August. (ST) (9/2015)
