"This is an excellent introduction to the dry whites of Alsace, being simultaneously juicy, creamy and zesty with stacks of stone fruit and citrusy freshness, but with moderate acidity at the lingering finish. 70% auxerrois and 30% pinot blanc. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink now. Screw cap."

Organically-farmed and using Biodynamic practices. 30% Pinot Blanc; 70% Auxerrois from a selections of vineyard plots. Average vine-age: 30+ years old. Pale yellow in colour; aromatics of peach and pear, with notes of white flowers. On the palate, the wine is clean and incredibly refreshing, with a harmonious balance of fruit, acidity and minerality.

The Barthelmé brothers (viticulturist Maurice and winemaker Jacky), are rated both by Wine Advocate and Vinous to be in the top tier of Alsace producers. With a three-star rating in The Classement by Revue du Vin de France, Domaine Albert Mann is now heralded the world over. Using organic methods guided by biodynamic practices, the Barthelmé brothers cultivate precisely controlled yields to obtain grapes of elevated maturity and complex substance. Maurice and Jacky consistently produce their wine in their own unique style. Never heavy, clumsy or out of balance, each carefully crafted vintage presents a beautiful delineation of flavors and precise textures.
