Yangchon Chungju is brewed with rice that was grown without using natural methods, without any herbicides.  With only rice, yeast (Nuruk), and water as the ingredients, this premium Chungju is fermented and matured for 60 days in low temperatures.

Its unique name comes from the method of releasing snails to maintain the healthiness of the rice in the field.

Tasting Notes:
With a golden-amber color (almost like oaked Chardonnay), this Chungju beams with abundant savory notes such as fermented soy, cheese rinds and mushroom. It has touch of natural sweetness that gives it a round texture.

It's a beauty with spicy asian food. We recommend to treat it like white wine and enjoy chilled, served in a wine glass. Drinking rice wine is an experience that is best enjoyed slowly and savored.
